College football rankings, Week 10: Michigan genuine contender after Penn State beatdown 




Michigan substantiated itself a genuine College Football Playoff contender in Week 10, blanking Penn State 42-7 at the Big House on Saturday and climbing to No. 4 in the Coaches Poll. The Wolverines presently sit on the Big Ten East standings, undefeated in gathering play.
