Marcelo, Luca Modric (Thigh) & Toni Kroos (Knee) will all miss the game and are all facing a race to fitness ahead of their last-16 second leg match against PSG in the Champions League. It means that the likes of Lucas Vázquez, Mateo Kovačić and Marco Asensio all have the opportunity to stake their claim for a starting place in Paris, something that is crucial for Zidane heading into the Espanyol tie.
